Visited Saffron tonite and the food was fabulous! Best Indian food we've had since moving to Edmonton! Ambience is great, staff very friendly and again, the food was delicious! Will be returning with friends!

The food and the service was great, I enjoyed my time here as being my first Indian cuisine experience.

This place is my first choice site. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to this restaurant. everytime I feel like having a special lunchon, this restaurant comes straight to my mind. excellent and many types of food and a rich menu.great team, and pleasant mood. Not less important, the price is decent. I suggest this place with pleasure.

Super nice food but understaffed. Hardly got service, not that they were bad but poor service people were overworked.

Food tastes great, quick service and didn't wait too long for the food. Dishes are authentic no watered down indian cuisine like indian places have. I'd come back here and definetly would recommend.

I have been here 3 times so far. They never disappoint! Their Palak Paneer is my favorite in the city! Everything I have ordered has been delicious and the service has always been good. I will definitely keep going back!

I won't recommend this restaurant as I found the quality was below par compared to the price you will be paying. Plenty of decent quality restaurants are available in the vicinity with better pricing. Curry was very watery and veggies tasted as if they were frozen and just added to paste

Love kadai panner and paneer allo tikki...clean and nice place for food

Service was excellent. Our waitress walked us through the menu and made sure to ask what level of spice we liked. Everything we ordered was full of flavour and served hot. Great food experience.

Good place to grab a bite if you have LOTS AND LOTS of time. Food quality is good however the service standards have fallen immensely. I had to wait for 40 minutes to get the food and there was no runner to bring any bread(had to wait another 10 minutes). I guess online orders are taking a toll on the customers who visit the place.

Went there last week for the first time andNot going back, chicken was undercooked and when informed the staff they took it and that’s it.they failed in providing naan in timely manner , either they give you right away or they make you wait and wait for it.

We have dined at the Saffron three times and will many times again. The food and service have been consistently exception. The portions are generous. Our servers have been attentive while not hovering. The ambiance is quiet and conducive to visiting. Excellent value!

Chicken tikka was good but the butter chicken tastes like rubber

Food quality and test was so BAD. Everything that we ordered tested either salty or sour. When we provided review about it the waitress and manager laughed at us. Instead of apologizing about their behavior they started helping another customer. Will never go to this place anymore.

Customer service was not up to the mark can be improvised otherwise food was fresh n less oily

We ordered Goat Bhunna , Karahi Chicken and Tandoori Chicken Tikka. All items were excellent. The Goat Bhunna is amazingly excellent. I think this restaurant is THE Best in Edmonton. If you are a food lover ,must try them out.

This is my first time there. I had mutton biriyani. They gave me two option medium or extra spice. I choose medium but feels like the highest spicy biriyani in Edmonton. The taste was great but my mouth is on fire. I would recommend the chef to tone down the spice a bit.

Great people own this place, and there is a great staff. Plus the food is delish! This the go-to joint for my husband and I. They are very good with allergies, which is essential to me! Real ingredients so I don’t worry about preservatives etc, which upset my stomach. And they are great about my soy allergy so I keep coming back!

Great food, modern design but their food service will need some work. My boyfriend and I got all the dishes we ordered and ate and 3 tables around us barely got 1 dish and were pretty upset.

I’ve been to a lot of these so called “Indian” cuisines around the city and absolutely none of them have been has been as good as here. Great food and even better customer service. 10/10 would eat here again.

The service was horrible. Nobody came up to us and we had to keep calling them ourselves. They only come to you when you have to pay. The food itself wasn't worth it either. No spice at all. We ordered medium spice and the spice level was as if we asked for none. Maybe if would've tasted better if there was spice but it was honestly nothing special. Naans were too thick. Won't be going back.

I feel that Saffron's dishes have the most variety of any Indian restaurant I've been to in Edmonton. The curry bases are completely different even when the dishes are visually similar. This place has real authentic peppers and vinegar Vindaloo (too spicy for me to eat!). The vegetarian dishes are fantastic. And their fusion style appetizers are really tasty and unique. It's a bit upscale in quality, taste, and price, but very worth a trip.

Food was tasty. Food hygiene was maintained. Very welcoming hosts. Inspite of being very crowded, it didn't took much time to receive food on table after we ordered.

Daal Makhni was decent but naans were burnt.

I always get the traditional samosas, butter naan and chicken korma and it’s always amazingly good! Very friendly staff as well.

A very clean and trendy place. The food was delicious and note: mild is very mild! 1st up; vegetable pakora with a chutney sauce. The pakora is crispy and light with the perfect heat which is complimented perfectly with a sweet spicy chutney sauce. Next we ordered saffron rice and mild spice Palak paneer and medium spice Butter Chicken with plain naan bread. The delicately flavoured saffron rice was overwhelmed by the curry dishes but on its own, it was light and yummy. Don’t get me wrong, it was great together too, you just can’t taste the saffron when coupled with the curry dishes. The Palak paneer and Butter chicken were both filling and delicious and we had more than enough for two people. Our dinner was complimented with a lovely Gallo Zinfandel wine that finished it off nicely and made me just feel classy and grown up! I loved it and I’m happy to say I’ll be back often.

A big thumbs up to much acclaimed variety and taste, they surely have some good multi cuisine Chefs at work considering how diverse Indian food can be.But here is the reason for my 2 pointer.1) Service - it takes an eternity for them to get food on the table.2) Portions - Abject portion size and rates. They charge about $15 for sizes suitable for a single person.My advice visit on those memorable occasions or when you wish to splurge.

Quality of food has went down. At my last visit I had stomach problems for couple of days. I have been here many times but never had bad experience as compared to last visit.

This restaurant deserves 6 stars. Great service, generous portions and the coconut naan is a must! Look forward to going back.

Great little restaurant. Not usually busy even for lunch which is great. If you want to save a lot to bit of money, ask for their lunch specials. It's not on the menu, but it's $9.99 for a veggie combo and $12.99 for a chicken combo. The lunch combos comes with whatever dish you picked, rice, and naan. It's pretty good considering that the butter chicken off the menu starts at $16.00 already.

Better than some other local indian places I've been, would recommend to anyone looking for a good local indian restaurant with great prices.

I have been to several Indian restaurants and this specific restaurant has me coming back over and over again. The food is impeccable along with the amazing staff, especially Kiran (he kept on checking on our table to ensure we were receiving the best of the best service). Not only was the food super delicious, but the presentation is just as incredible. I have been ordering take-out and dining in for quite some time now and will not be purchasing Indian food from anywhere else! For the amount of food I received, the price is amazing. I have brought all my friends and family here and they can't stop thanking me.
